After years of dreaming, I followed the call and returned home… and now, I wake up every day in awe of this land’s beauty, peace, and deep, ancient energy.

Now, I want to share it with you. Whether you’re seeking some rest, adventure, or something a little more soulful, this island has something special for your heart.

Porto Martins is a special place. It´s a very calm and nice place to stay. Plus there's plenty of things you can do here, from swimming or diving in crystal clear waters, going for a walk on it's boardwalk by the seashore, surfing great waves, fishing along the coast or even climbing the mount of Pico do Capitão which rewards you with a breathtaking view.

The parish has great accesses and a great location, being just a mere distance of 10 minutes from Praia da Vitória City and 20 minutes from the World Heritage City of Angra do Heroísmo by car. Being close to both Terceira cities means that one can quickly and easily go for a shopping or a wander in each ci

THE WEATHER

The subtropical climate of the Azores is known for having mild temperatures over the year, with average temperatures ranging from 12 to 18º C during winter and 22 to 26º C during summer. The sea water temperatures are also mild with average temperatures of 15º C during winter and a pleasing 22º C during summer.

As a subtropical climate, it is humid with frequent light showers. There's a local saying that states that in the Azores you have the 4 seasons in the same day, so normally the showers don't last for too long and in most days we have sunshine. The overall summer is sunny.

The kitchen is the heart of our home, spacious and full of light, with its own entrance leading directly to the backyard. It is fully equipped for anyone who loves to cook: quality knives, plenty of dishes and cutlery, a dishwasher for easy clean-up, and a washing machine tucked in for your laundry. We are mindful about what we use in our home, so you will find only glass containers for storage and a trusted stainless steel pan—no toxic plastics here. With lots of counter and cupboard space, the kitchen invites both everyday meals and creative cooking sessions to be a joy.

Your room is a peaceful south-facing retreat, filled with natural light throughout the day. It is comfortably furnished with a cozy bed, a desk for work or journaling, and simple touches that make it feel like home. You will also have your own private washroom—separate from my mom’s—equipped with a shower and bidet, offering both comfort and privacy. This space is yours to rest, reflect, and recharge during your stay.
